Think back to 100 years ago, to the year 1918. Would someone at that time have been able to imagine smart phones? The ability to not only call someone from just about anywhere? But also the ability to instantly get information at the palm of our hand? Now think forward to 100 years from now, to the year 2118. What will exist then that we can barely even imagine now? Will our existence in the year 2018 seem in any way primitive to the people of that time?
Say 'thank you' to someone today. Whether it be a stranger who does a small act, like holding open a door for you. Or whether it be a family member or close friend who has always been there for you. Say 'thank you' to show that you noticed and appreciated their care and consideration of you. It's the right thing to do and you'll feel better for it.
Quit showing off to others. Quit stalking others. Quit giving out details of your personal life for free -- without getting anything of value in return. Quit being a cog in the propaganda machine. Anyone else still dealing with left-over Halloween candy??? Since Halloween, my wife and I have given our kids one piece of candy most evenings after dinner.
