Domestic violence during the pandemic

Billy Penn posted an article this past Friday, which notes that filings of petitions for Protection from Abuse (PFA) in Philadelphia Family Court have dropped by about 40% during the months of the coronavirus pandemic as compared to the same time-frame last year, raising concerns that the quarantine has essentially trapped some, or perhaps many, domestic violence victims with their abusers.

I strongly encourage you to read the article and to spread the word on the domestic violence resources listed in the article, or even consider donating money, goods, or time to any of the listed organizations. Thank you.
