The buck stops at the Oval Office

All of the events of the past two weeks have been happening on Trump's watch. He has no control or positive influence over the situation, namely for two reasons: 1) he has no moral persuasion over anyone -- his leadership in this sense is an empty void; and 2) he couldn't care less about anyone but himself -- his failure to care for others is also a moral void.

Despite his tough-guy bluster, doled out in doses of 140 characters or less, his emptiness as a source of moral authority has ironically fed into a sense of anarchy, or at best regionalized self-rule. Bad leadership ~ no leadership.
