Numbers

Here's an interesting exercise in observation. Compare and contrast the numbers of demonstrators at anti stay-at-home protests, for example those in Lansing, Michigan back on May 14th and in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania on April 20th, versus the numbers of demonstrators at the George Floyd, anti police brutality demonstrations happening in American cities all this past week and through today.

What does it tell us? in terms of the difference in absolute numbers of protesters? or in terms of the difference of how many places or cities at which there were protests in either case?

What does it tell us about democracy? and the will of the people? and about which issue, compared to the other, is more meaningful to a majority of Americans?
