Can we prevent the next one?

At a time so raw as the one we're living in today, I hate to put this out there, but I'll ask anyway: How do we prevent the death of the 'next' George Floyd?

I don't know. There are any number of closet racists in this country -- those who are smart or savvy enough not to express their racism except behind closed doors -- and many or some of those are in positions of power and authority: police, sheriffs, security, and so on. And as I alluded to in yesterday's post, it's not just racism, but it's also classism and any other power imbalance. What are we to do to preemptively look into people's hearts and thoughts?
