Día de los Muertos

A few weeks ago I wrote about some of the friends in my life that have passed on. Today is the Commemoration of All the Faithful Departed, or All Souls' Day, or Day of the Dead, as it is alternatively called and recognized among different communities and parts of the world. So, I think about my friends again today, and also I think of family that has passed on.

The days sometimes seem long, but the years go fast. Our time -- yours and mine -- will be what it is. While we are here, let us think of those that were here, so that in a similar way, others will think of us when our time has passed and the world is theirs.

Say a prayer now for those who you have known that are no longer here, something as simple as, "I'm thinking of you, I pray for you wherever you are, my best wishes I send."
