Sick as a Dog

"Could you keep your heart in wonder at the daily miracles of your life, your pain would not seem less wondrous than your joy; and you would accept the seasons of your heart, even as you have always accepted the seasons that pass over your fields." -- Kahlil Gibran, The Prophet, p. 52

As the title above implies, I'll say it explicitly here: I've been feeling like absolute crap this whole past week. I have what is likely a really bad sinus infection, with heavy pressure behind my eyes sometimes making it painful to even look at a screen, headaches, thick mucus that isn't moving out of my sinuses and nasal passages, fatigue and even bouts of fever and chills. I've done my best to try to work part-time, but it's been very difficult on my law practice, especially being a solo attorney with no paid staff. I appreciate very much all the well-wishes from clients, friends, and opposing counsel alike. I'm resting and drinking lots of fluids, hoping to get back on track soon. Please bear with me in the meantime and, as I said before, I appreciate your patience and understanding. Take care.
